Looking for a Summer experience that’s packed with adventure, learning, and excitement? HangDog Summer Camp is the ultimate destination for kids ages 6-14! Over the course of each action-packed week, campers will learn the skills of a Junior Ropes Attendant, including knot-tying, climbing techniques, and the science behind ropes. With hands-on activities, team-building games, and plenty of time on our thrilling courses, campers will gain confidence, develop teamwork skills, and create unforgettable memories.

Our Summer Nature Camps, designed for youth entering grades 1st – 6th, get kids outdoors, developing a deeper connection with the natural world through fun and educational activities. We provide a professional environmental education specialist for each camp and limit group size based on optimal teacher-student ratios. Meeting live animals, hiking woodland trails, role-playing, making art and craft projects, learning from scientists and special presenters, exploring natural areas, telling and listening to stories, and conducting experiments fill the campers’ days. Off-site trips may be included to study water creatures or explore regional highlights.

Lehigh Valley Zoo invites campers for an exciting week of nature discovery, animal adventures and Smart FUN! Week-long camps run for half days for ages 4-5 (available Mon-Fri from 9:00AM – 11:30AM), and full days for ages 6-11 (available Mon-Fri from 9:00AM – 3:30PM).*
Each camp is adapted to the theme of the week, as well as the varying age groups. Campers of all ages will enjoy age-appropriate activities, adventures, and games. The farm week will introduce campers to the source of their food, good soil practices, composting, earth worms and local pollinators. The expanded “Woods and Pasture walk” developed in collaboration with the PA Department of Forestry will introduce campers to the area’s rich natural resources. Since the farm is also a Registered a Certified Raw Milk Goat Dairy, the campers will be involved with the daily feeding and care of our dairy herd. Each day has a different theme: Horses and their care, Goats/Cows-Dairy and Cheesemaking, Garden and woods, Chickens-housing, feeding and care/eggs. Friday is Parents Day. Put the time aside to come and see what your campers learned! 6 calves due between July and August!
